I Got My Art Print…Now What?

Over the last 18 months I’ve spent hours upon hours developing different designs & printing methods for my art prints to the point that I’m really comfortable with what they are & how they are produced.  Now that I’ve checked that off the list, the fun begins.  How to use them.  Where to hang them.  And can you ever have too many?

Over the next couple of days I will show you how & where they are in my home.  Today we’ll start in my kids’ room.  My oldest son & daughter share a room, which was a challenge in & of itself, but I’ve loved it.  Here are the art prints you will find in their room.

This is the corner of their room where they hang their backpacks & swim bags…and dump their laundry.  The laundry basket is just below on the right, not seen in the photo.  It is a corner the come & go from a lot & so naturally, I try to sneak in all the positive reinforcement I can get!

Both of these 11×14′s are double-sided…these are just the sides I am using right now.  You can see the other sides, here and here.

For those of you that aren’t Mormon, or don’t speak Mormon {yes, there is an entire vocabulary & culture that goes with it} that chevron print there is a silhouette of an LDS temple.  The Salt Lake Temple to be exact…it is not Cinderella’s castle & we are not planning a trip to Disneyland!  It is a reminder to my son & daughter to make choices that will allow them to someday go to the temple.  If you have more questions about it, you can email me.  I have a girl version as well, here.  These ones I change out quite a bit…assuming my kids haven’t already pulled them down or re-arranged them themselves.  A few other favorites that I hang here are this one & this one.

Up next…the laundry room.  Yes, you read that right.

Modern Baby Art Print I Heart Nap Time | I Heart Nap Time - Easy recipes, DIY crafts, Homemaking - [...] This print is sized at 11×14 instead of your typical 8×10 so you’ll have to have it printed at your favorite photo processing place.  I like my prints to be a bit bigger & typically frame them with a white matte around them so that they can hold a little more weight in a wall.  You can see how I’ve used some others in the past here [...]
